New faculty from 2011 & 2012, you and your department mentors and your department chairs are cordially invited to the Spring New Faculty & Mentor Lunch!
This is an informal time to reconnect with each other and share ideas. Everyone should please register individually so that we order the right amount of food.

NIH Grant Webinar
RESCHEDULED
Thursday May 16, 2013, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Bldg 8, first floor room 48.
This two-hour webinar is geared for new investigators submitting NIH grants, and wish to understand the application mechanism that will ultimately lead them to the independent investigator status. The emphasis will be on K and R awards.
Please note that this is a NATIONAL INSTITUTES of HEALTH webinar, not a NSF webinar.

Research & Creative Activities Meet & Mingle
Friday May 24, 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Kellogg Art Gallery
Based on a suggestion from a new faculty member, this event will help people meet other faculty who could be collaborators on research, scholarly, or creative projects. We'll be just organized enough to help folks with complementary interests cluster together. Enjoy some wine and cheese, and come with your ideas to share!
