Welcome to the website of the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Cal Poly Pomona!
The Provost is the chief academic officer of the University, reporting to the President with responsibility for the academic enterprise of the university including: coordination of academic programs, administration of academic resources, and planning and implementation of key initiatives.
In addition to working with the various college, school, and library deans, the Office of the Provost coordinates and directs the activities of the Office of Undergraduate Studies, the Office of Academic Resources, the Office of Faculty Affairs, the Faculty Center for Professional Development, the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning, the Office of Research and Graduate Studies, and the International Center.
The Office of the Provost also works collaboratively with the Divisions of Student Affairs, Administrative Affairs, Instructional and Information Technology (I&IT), and University Advancement to facilitate organizational success across the Cal Poly Pomona campus.
The Division of Academic Affairs encompasses a wide array of activities and functions in support of the academic mission of the university. The Academic Affairs web site provides direct access to the various colleges, centers, services, and activities that comprise the division. I encourage you to explore the web site to gain valuable insight and information on Cal Poly Pomona and to identify the many resources available to assist students, faculty, and staff.
